Article Abstract:

The telecommunication, media, and information technology and software (TMT) negative wealth effect, after the correction of 4/00, is examined, going outward from the US. US productivity growth may be slack, lowering the probability of recovery in US company earnings and US equities. There is some evidence that economies overall tend to move as the TMNT valuations move.

Twin deficits: Is the US economy in trouble, and how will it affect Australian investors?

Article Abstract:

The way in which the US economy gets afflict by the twin deficits and its' effects on the Australian investors are presented. The dramatic increase in US spending on the war in Iraq, and substantial income and capital gains tax cuts, are the two main reasons for the rise in the budget deficit.
