Energy use by apartment tenants when landlords pay for utilities
Article Abstract:
The Residential Energy Consumption Survey and the American Housing Survey was studied to estimate the energy consumption and the rent premiums for utility aided apartments to understand the energy use by tenants. This analysis suggested that the rents are higher for comparable metered apartments, the difference is negligent in the cost of energy used, and this conclusion may support landlord side reasoning.

International benchmarking of electricity distribution utilities
Article Abstract:
The benchmarking by means of applying the DEA model is an interesting alternative for regulators under the new regimes for electricity distributors. A study on a sample of large electricity distribution utilities from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands for the year 1997 is conducted by assuming a common production frontier for all countries.

Defining electricity markets: an arbitration cost approach
Article Abstract:
For lack of data for analysis, the measurement of market power requires an appropriate methodiolgy for a market definition. The arbitrage cost estimator is here presented as a method for conducting market definition analysis with extremely limited data requirements.
