Article Abstract:
Spain has been an attractive place for Britons to purchase property for many years, offering an ideal climate and low prices. However, some of these advantages are now beginning to disappear, and Spain's standard of living has become equal to that of the UK. Running costs on a second home in Spain have risen considerably, and this is forcing some Britons to let their properties to cover outgoings. Resort homes in an attractive position are easy to let out to holidaymakers, but others are not.

Article Abstract:
Gozo, the second largest of Malta's three islands, has become the latest site for tourists seeking antiquities and ancient civilization in the Mediterranean. The beautiful island, with picturesque beaches and seascapes, was settled over 7,000 years ago by people from Sicily, and was then conquered by Phoenicians and many others. Approximately 800,000 people visit the island annually to see the country's landmarks and beaches. Most of the country's land is still used for agriculture.
