Anticomplement and antioxidant activities of new acetylated flavonoid glycosides from Centaurium spicatum
Article Abstract:
Three acetylated flavonol glycosides, plus some other compounds have recently been isolated from Centaurium spicatum plant. The anticomplement and antioxidant activities of these compounds were evaluated, and the triacetylated flavonoid glycoside showed the highest activity in the two assays.

Polyacetylenes in hairy roots of a Panax hybrid
Article Abstract:
The hairy roots of an interspecific hybrid ginseng (Panax ginseng x P. quinquefolium), three polyacetylenes were isolated. Maximum growth and highest yields of the hairy roots were observed in Gamborg B5 (B5) liquid media.
