The Transdermal Cosmetic Delivery System

Article Abstract:

The latest cosmetic and drug patches, or transdermal delivery system (TDS), have vehicles that behave as excipients which promote a more efficient absorption of the cosmetic or drug product into the skin. The article shows five graphs and illustrations that demonstrate the delivery system. The new drug delivery system, more commonly used by the pharmaceutical industry, is being adapted for the cosmetics industry.
