Moral generalism: Enjoy in moderation
Article Abstract:
Moral particularism contains two important strands, moral practice and moral domain and an attempt is made to challenge the second strand by defending a novel generalist account of the structure of the moral domain which is able to accommodate much of what is dear to particularists short of their particularism. Moderate generalism is found attractive because its appeal to hedged principles has considerable explanatory payoffs and also because that appeal fits with the practice of normative ethicists.

Rejecting ethical deflationism
Article Abstract:
A new response to deflationary ethical views is presented. By drawing a distinction between acceptance and rejection, belief and disbelief it is argued that there is strong reason to reject theories, though there is no reason to disbelieve them.
