The ethical environment facing purchasing and supply management professionals: a multinational perspective

Article Abstract:

The critical issues, 'challenges,' and 'helps' results of the 1995 study conducted by the National Assn of Purchasing Management were analyzed with respect to the designated supply and purchasing management professionals studied in the US, UK and Canada. The study suggested that the professionals had a propensity to regard areas of their business environment to be more useful for most of the resources associated with the professional environment when confronted with certain ethical issues. They also usually found ethics training as not particularly useful whenever available.
