From red to green

Article Abstract:

Green Cross International head Mikhail Gorbachev thinks that the environmental movement would succeed only if the international community develops a single environmental agenda. Moreover, environmental efforts must be focused towards the stabilization of population and economic growth. Humans are left with about 30 to 40 years to repair the damages suffered by the biosphere. Additional damages may result from the opening up of a global market system.
