Power and wealth in a competitive capitalist economy
Article Abstract:
The notion of politics of exchange is discussed using the concept of political economy. Using the Walrasian model, it has been observed that the production, allocation and distribution of wealth may result in the access, promotion and regulation of power. Power may be rendered accountable to groups or certain individuals in the economy. In this light, political philosophy plays a key role in understanding economic relationships.
