Brief report: School exclusion drug use and delinquency in adolescence
Article Abstract:
Young people in the age group of 14 to 15 years, exhibiting a high risk to substance abuse and antisocial behavior, and factors increasing the propensity of young people to use illicit drugs are studied. Findings suggest that many of them who have developed a high propensity to drug abuse and anti social behavior compared to their peers in mainstream education are detached from school and experiencing low levels of parental monitoring.
