Collaboration in capitated care: challenges for psychology
Article Abstract:
Analysis of a sample program at Kaiser Permanente to ascertain the interdependence of various disciplines on each other in a capitated care system reveals the need to eliminate mind-body dualism to usher in better health care. Effective assessment and treatment procedures in the discipline of psychology hinges on research skills, program development and special skills in practice areas.

Using spiritual interventions in psychotherapy: practices, successes, failures, and ethical concerns of Mormon psychotherapists
Article Abstract:
A survey conducted among Mormon psychotherapists revealed that more than two-third of the sample used various spiritual interventions in treating patients. The most frequently reported interventions were prayer, teaching of theological concepts and reference to scriptures. Many spiritual interventions were perceived by therapists as being therapeutic.
