Residents of Copenhagen, Denmark have access to free, comprehensive mental health care services that are financed by taxes and managed by the Copenhagen Hospital Corporation. Social service agencies, hospitals, and general practitioners work together to provide community mental health care, psychotherapy, emergency services, and psychopharmaceutical treatment.
