Is "discrimination" necessary to explain the sex gap in earnings?

Article Abstract:

Men and women are inherently different in their desire to earn money. Presuming that reproductive success is the ultimate objective of all biological organisms, woman's measures of success differ from that of a man. Consequently, the sex gap in earnings exists which is not there among childless unmarried workers who are under 40.

Feedback-conditional regret theory and testing regret-aversion in risky choice

Article Abstract:

Feedback-conditional regret theory, which is a modified version of Loomes and Sugden's (1987) general version of regret theory, is presented to examine the impact of results from a completed act on anticipated post-decisional regret as a decision motive in risky choice.
