Semen-like urethral discharge during the use of mazindol

Article Abstract:

Two case studies of semen-like urethral discharge in male patients during micturition after using mazindol were described. The first case involved a 34-year-old man who complained of insomnia and agitation in addition to a urethral discharge that resembles seminal fluid after taking mazindol. The second patient experienced shivering, tingling feet and increased perspiration after using the same drug. Mazindol is known to induce urogenital side effects including urinary retention and testicular pain. Seminal discharge may be another side effect of the drug.

Functional MRI of the brain during orgasm in women

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to review the brain responses to sexual arousal and orgasm in women diagnosed with complete spinal injury and further hypothesizes that afferent pathway for this unexpected perception is provided by Vagus nerves, which bypass the spinal cord. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) it was ascertained that the region of the medulla oblongata to which the Vagus nerves project is activated by vaginal-cervical mechanical self-stimulation.

Morphological and functional differentiation in the lumbar spine of lorisids and galagids

Article Abstract:

A study that is carried out to examine morphological and functional differentiation in the lumbar vertebrae of lorisids and galagids is described. It is seen that though galagids, indriids and lorisids are distinct in lumbar morphology and function, their similarities in lumbar length reduction show antipronograde postures in the common ancestor of the galagids.
