The effects of violent video game habits on adolescent hostility, aggressive behaviors, and school performance

Article Abstract:

The video game habits of adolescents in America and the level of parental monitoring of adolescent game use are documented and the associations among violent video game exposure, hostility, arguments with teachers, school grades and physical fights are examined. The results obtained from the general aggression model shows that exposure to video game violence would be positively correlated with trait hostility.
