How fear kills great design

Product designers at big companies are primarily concerned with avoiding failure, according to Vent Design's Steven Peart. At a big company, he added, there is an inverse relationship between a design's originality and the liklihood of its being produced. Apple CEO John Sculley, for example, rejected the innovative "Jonathan" concept, because it provided a "bridge" that would have allowed users to use other operating systems besides the Macintosh operating system.

Descente superhuman Olympic suits
Article Abstract:
The athleticwear at the Winter Olympics, which were designed by Descente, are reviewed that made the athletes fell stronger and more powerful than ever before, almost superhuman. Some of the other great designs for celebrities and movie characters by Descente are described.
