Bringing relief to developers

Article Abstract:

The completion of the relief road linking junction 4 of the M3 with Farnham is due in 1996 and may have a serious impact on the region's commercial and industrial property markets. The expected increased links are set to benefit towns such as Aldershot, Alton and Farnham. The region is occupied by a broad range of businesses, including building societies, pharmaceutical companies and banks. There is a low availability of new commercial and industrial space in the area, with little speculative development.

Fast moves in Northampton

Article Abstract:

The town of Northampton, England, is rated as one of the country's fastest growing areas, with increasing activity in the retail, office and distribution sectors. The town's strategic position alongside the M1 motorway means that it is a distribution hub and an important location for national warehouse facilities. The nearby town of Rugby is Northampton's main industrial competitor in the region and there is little available space.
