Level 3: building at broadband speed
Article Abstract:
The construction of a 800,000-sq.-ft facility in Broomfield, CO, is expected to bring Level 3 Communications to the top ranks of telecommunication companies worldwide. The four-complex facility, which would house 3,000 to 4,000 employees, is expected to help the company in its transition to broadband service. Level 3 is also working on the world's first ever subterranean Internet protocol service that would run along three continents. This 23,000-mile telecommunications network project is expected to be completed in a five-year time span.
