Under pressure

Article Abstract:

Some property agents in Warrington, England, believe that developers may begin looking to other locations if demand remains high and stock shortages emerge. There are concerns about traffic congestion in the key areas of the town, which has been made worse by retailers opening out-of-town stores at Gemini Business Park. Developers may turn to land on the west side of Manchester, England, which will be released by the completion of the M60 Manchester Orbital motorway at the end of 1999. However, a number of speculative schemes are still being undertaken in Warrington.
