Pay on display

Article Abstract:

New regulations on corporate governance in the UK mean that the majority of property companies are now required to give detailed information about directors' salaries, bonuses, pensions and incentive payments. However, a small number of property companies are still able to avoid revealing this information. Green Properties, for example, is incorporated in Ireland, so needs to only give general figures about directors' pay. Some property companies also avoid disclosure by having special consultancy arrangements for directors.
