Pennsylvania's better business climate
Article Abstract:
Pennsylvania is gearing up for a more robust economy with its highly-skilled labor force, abundance of natural resources, highly-efficient transportation and telecommunications infrastructure, strategic location in reference to other markets and a high quality of life. As it prepares itself for the future, Pennsylvania accepts the new rules of a global, interdependent economy. Gov. Tom Ridge ensures the growth of labor through better tax and regulatory incentives. He also plans to further reduce taxes and spending and create a $1,000 tax credit that employers can earn.
