Selfridges eyes Glasgow hotel for next store site
Article Abstract:
Buchanan Hotel in Glasgow, Scotland, is attracting interest from potential buyers for both retail and hotel uses, according to DTZ Debenham Thorpe, which is marketing the property. Potential purchasers include Sears, which is believed to be considering using the site for a Selfridges department store. It would be necessary to purchase further buildings behind the hotel in order to have a large enough site for an 18,500 sq mt outlet.
