Occupiers blow reveille

Article Abstract:

The UK property industry must make more effort to respond to occupiers' requirements for new office space. It is important to be aware that occupiers are seeking flexibility of space and that they want buildings quickly. Landlords can no longer afford to be complacent, and must recognize that occupiers do not wish to be committed to a set space configuration for many years. Some occupiers are adopting new working practices, such as hot-desking, while others are becoming more interested in the appearance of the buildings they occupy.
