Splits emerge in EH tower policy

Article Abstract:

English Heritage has attracted controversy by ruling against the 305 mt tower planned in Southwark, London, England, by Irvine Sellar. It has called on the Secretary of State to refuse permission for the 400 million pounds sterling scheme. There is evidence that there was a deep division within English Heritage over whether to support Gerald Ronson's 183 mt tower planned for Bishopsgate, London, England.
