A nasty complaint?
Article Abstract:
The UK RICS is soon to implement revised regulations obliging surveying companies to draw up a formal complaints-handling procedure. Companies will have to have written procedures that can be made available to clients, as well as named points of contact and timescales for dealing with complaints. Surveyors will be obliged to maintain professional indemnity insurance. Most policies will require the insurers to be informed if the surveying firm becomes aware of any situation which may lead to a claim. Professional indemnity insurers will wish to be involved in deciding whether to settle a dispute.

Article Abstract:
The performance of a company on the UK equity market is evaluated by assessing its price earning ratio, dividend coverage and net asset value. The capital value of a company is then established. Share prices of companies may be affected by their results depending on their current price and whether it is already at its lowest level. The equity market can also be influenced by economic indictors such as interest rates, inflation, exchange rates and by world markets. Factors such as increasing company earnings and low interest rates and inflation are propitious for the equity market.
