Stanley King is arguably one of the most successful black agents working the baseball circuit. Based in Voorhees, NJ, King has built a solid reputation by striking good deals for black and Latino players under his wing. He now represents 25 players in the minors and several in the major leagues.

The Daily News was again accused of being racist on Aug. 17, 1995. African American readers opposed an editorial asking them not to watch the pay-per-view fight of Mike Tyson. The paper was opposed to 'rewarding' a convicted rapist.
