Le certificat pratique de la CCIP et la traduction dans les cours de francais commercial
Article Abstract:
Studying the examinations for those students gaining the 'Certificat pratique' of Paris's 'Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie' shows that teachers of commercial French preparing the student for these examinations must concentrate on the idioms of commercial language. The fact that candidates for the 'Certificat pratique' cannot use any reference books while being tested is one of the reasons this examination is more demanding than those in other translation courses. Pour l'enseignement des ecrivains femmes africaines dans le cours de francais
Article Abstract:
The 1970s saw the emergence of African women writers using French. Writers include Aminata Sow Fall, Nafissatou Diallo, Awa Keita, and Mariama Ba. The writing started with autobiography in which the women started to carve out their own identity separate from their husbands. Teachers wishing to include their work in a French literature course should start with a description of their culture. A sample lesson plan for Sow Fall's 'L'appel des arenes' is given.
