Le feminisme quebecois et la litterature sexuelle
Article Abstract:
Sexuality has become a prominent theme in feminist literature in Quebec beginning in the 1970s. The literature suggests a new identity for women, one that is positive, generally lesbian, and without power struggles. Since the mid-1980s, however, feminist literature has given way to a literature that is more egalitarian, accommodating both homosexual and heterosexual fantasies. Article text is in French.

Ritual and roles for women in Werewere Liking's 'L'Amour-cent-vies.'
Article Abstract:
Cameroonian author Werewere Liking's first two novels were widely recognized as supporting a "ritual healing" for postcolonial Africa by reenergizing traditional rituals and portraying women as crucial to them. 'L'Amour-cent-vies,' Liking's third novel, continues this project by creating an indigenously based feminist practice not found in the first two books.
