Learning from NGO proponents of Asia-Pacific regionalism: success and its lessons
Article Abstract:
Nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that support Asia-Pacific regionalism can learn from the success of the Institute of Pacific Relations, Pacific Trade and Development Conference and Pacific Economic Cooperation Council. They also had privileged access to the decision-making process and had a clear statement of intent.

Article Abstract:

The eventual economic integration of the Asia-Pacific region is likely to be spurred by this distinct type of capitalism.
