Susan G. Hadden: 1945-1995
Article Abstract:
Susan G. Hadden, professor of the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the Center for Asian Studies at the University of Texas, was murdered on January 15, 1995 by bandits when she and her husband were going to the Angkor Wat temple complex. Her field of work included environmental policy, citizen involvement in policy development, health development policy and telecommunications policy. Hadden dealt with India's environmental policy in her works. Cultured and sophisticated, Hadden became a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in February 1993.
