The Jewish immigrant experience
Article Abstract:
The study of literature by and about Jewish immigrants has expanded greatly since 1969. In that year, Bernard Sherman's 'The Invention of the Jew,' the first study of Jewish immigrant literature, was published. Irving Howe's 'World of Our Fathers, published in 1976, was a popular, well-researched examination of the migrant experience which became a standard reference work. The 1970s saw significant research on female and male immigrant authors. Comparison of the immigrant experience to the present-day multi-ethnic context is likely.

The dynamics of Algeria's oil supply: A changing influence within OPEC
Article Abstract:
The study seeks to assess how Algeria, a small OPEC producer, has reacted to market crude oil price variations as well as those of Saudi Arabia's production, foreign exchange rates and its own oil products. However the statistical results offer evidence that Algeria's market share and output level variations positively correlate with international crude oil price levels from 1973 to 2001, which seems to reveal a competitive relationship.
