The Marcel-Storme-Chair for International and Comparative Civil procedure at Ghent University - A note
Article Abstract:
The institution of named chairs is not as prevalent in Europe as it is in the United States since amongst other reasons European Universities are mostly public institutions and do not have to rely on private funding. A note on the Marcel-Storme-Chair for international and comparative study of law created in 2003, which is an exception in Europe as an institution of named chairs, is presented.
