Article Abstract:
The U.S. relations with both Southeast and Northeast Asia continued to recast even after the September 11 incident. The Bush government concentrated on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to root out conspiratorial cells and countries like South Korea, Japan, china and Russia were looked after to pressure Pyongyang.
