The origin of the marginalization of former southern Cameroonians (Anglophones), 1961-1966: an historical analysis
Article Abstract:
The history of the marginalization of Anglophones in Cameroon has been studied through newly-available data and documents. The marginalization of Anglophones started when the federal constitution of Cameroon took effect in 1961. Southern Cameroon was deemed a UN trust territory under British supervision but without a flag or national anthem. Their marginalization gained momentum with the disregard for 'equality status' in 1972 and following the resignation of Pres Ahidjo in 1982.

The national question: issues and lessons of boundary adjustment in Nigeria - the Ndoki case
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the effects of boundary adjustment measures implemented by the Nigerian government on the socio-economic lives of 55 Nigerian communities involved in boundary disputes. The Ndoki communities were used as a case in point since they are small independent producers and are indifferent to administrative boundary. Results showed that the Ndokis lost their self-identity and were politically disadvantaged by the administrative boundary adjustments.
