Tourist trap

The Convention Center and The Gallery mall in Philadelphia, PA, were built to attract tourists and suburban dwellers. However, the perception that the convention center is upscale and white while the mall is downscale and African American has put them at cross purposes.

Drug abuse is a common problem at Lower Merion High School in Lower Merion, PA. According to the school paper's most recent survey, the number of students who admitted they smoke marijuana has risen by 9% between 1994 and 1992.
