A Blair landslide would sweep all politics before it
Article Abstract:
There are very mixed views about the possibility of a landslide victory for the UK Labour party at the forthcoming general election. A future Labour government with a large majority would be very much in the mould of party leader Tony Blair, and would not necessarily return to the traditional approaches of the Labour party. Furthermore, it would have a range of sensitive issues to face, including relations with the European Union, Scottish devolution, proportional representation and Northern Ireland.

Just what does Labour have to be so defensive about?
Article Abstract:
The UK Labour party has much less to be worried about in the debate about its tax and spending policy than its opponents have indicated. Areas where the Labour party should feel more concerned are the asylum issue and the fact that its manifesto may be regarded as unexciting.

Article Abstract:
The possibility of a landslide victory for the Labour party in the forthcoming UK general election is considered. It is argued that a landslide victory would benefit politics in general, as it would allow the Conservatives to regroup and become an effective Opposition.
