A new car I could afford. Or could I?
Article Abstract:
Many people in the UK are now choosing a personal contract purchase (PCP) agreement to finance the purchase of a new car. Most commonly, the purchaser pays a deposit, with monthly repayments being calculated on the basis of the difference between a 'minimum guaranteed future value' (MGFV) and the car's new price, less the deposit. This sum is spread over an agreed period. PCP deals can be much cheaper than a traditional hire purchase agreement, as the purchaser is not actually paying off the MGFV component of the new price. At the end of the agreed period, the purchaser can pay the MGFV as a lump sum and retain the car, hand the car back or an accept an offer from the dealer which is usually higher than the MGFV.

First could you show me how to boil water?
Article Abstract:
There is an abundance of cookery programmes on television but they all assume a considerable knowledge and familiarity with cookery terms, and are very frustrating for the novice. The meaning of terms like clarifying, roux and filo are not obvious to the uninitiated. These programmes also have a wealth of equipment that is not available to most viewers who also complain that steps are missed out and warnings given that mean nothing to the beginner.

Warning: Prince Xenu could destroy the Net
Article Abstract:
The recent case in which the Church of Scientology sued a former member for distributing some of its secret material on the Internet could have widespread implications. This is because the legal action also involves network provider Netcom. The case could conclude that network providers are responsible for messages placed on the Internet by their subscribers.
