Aftershocks hold up El Salvador rescue efforts

Article Abstract:

It is believed that the earthquake in El Salvador killed at least 400 people. Strong aftershocks are making it very difficult to rescue anybody buried by the earthquake who may still be alive.

Earthquake survivors at risk from shortage of water

The survivors of the large earthquake in El Salvador are now living in very harsh conditions. International rescuers are trying to ensure that the survivors receive water, food and medicines.

Grief and despair as hope fades for more survivors
