Are Jews marrying into oblivion?
Article Abstract:
It has now become increasingly common for Jews in the UK to marry non-Jews. Some Jews find this acceptable, while others are very shocked and break off contact with the person who has married a non-Jew. For people who have been brought up with strict Jewish values, marrying outside the community can bring a strong sense of guilt, even if they feel that they have done the right thing for them. Even people who would not consider marrying a non-Jew do not wish their children to be brought up in a completely Jewish environment.

Glastonbury or bust?
Article Abstract:
The annual Glastonbury Festival used to be a strong manifestation of the hippie spirit. However, the atmosphere there now seems to have changed. The festival has become much more commercialized, with food and drink being quite expensive. Commercial ventures such as beer tents and food stalls are generally not prepared to employ people attending the festival, even in return for payment in kind. However, there are still oases of calm where the hippie spirit can be found.
