Article Abstract:
Paul Elliott, Jon Conway and Nick Thomas, who founded E&B/AMG Pantomimes in 1988, produce around 30 of the top 100 pantomimes in the UK each year. They have established a very strong presence in the pantomime business, which has become extremely profitable. The company owns 30 different sets of equipment and more than 20,000 costumes, and there is a great deal of work involved in arranging which equipment and costumes will be used where.

Start talking
Article Abstract:
Employers in the UK are expressing concern about the growing lack of oral skills in graduates. This could be the result of strong emphasis on lecture-based teaching in colleges, which also often fail to develop project-based team skills. Graduates assume that paper qualification are all-important, but oral skills are most important at the interview stage. Some observers feel that UK businesses are now facing a serious communications problem which is having a negative impact on their performance.
