Change is good for your figures
Article Abstract:
Sales of most women's magazines have been declining in the UK. This seems to be because women's magazines are no longer fulfilling their readers' expectations. Publishers are finding it increasingly difficult to provide exactly what their readers want to read because it is no longer possible to easily categorize women by age and type. There are no longer clear differences between different generations of women, and women's aspirations are unpredictable. Women now have many different magazines to choose from but little time to spend choosing between them, so publishers have to give their magazine instant appeal.

Secretary of State for Education and Employment, David Blunkett, believes that the UK does not presently possess the skills required for business prosperity. Vauxhall UK chairman, Nick Reilly, will lead the initiative.
