How to make a better viewer

Article Abstract:

Television criticism is characterized by a strong discrepancy of investment between the time, money and effort required to make a television programme and the time required by the critic to watch that programme and form an opinion about it. One of the key roles of critics is to create better audiences, encouraging an environment in which good television broadcasting can thrive.
