Crazy loner with racist motive is suspected
Article Abstract:
Local people in Brixton, London, England, believe that the nail bomb that exploded in a busy street market in the area on Apr 17, 1999, could have been planted by a racist who wanted to target the black community. It is possible that the attack was the work of a lone extremist, rather than an extreme right-wing group. Some observers believe that the bomb could be a response to the extensive media coverage of the case of murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence.

Knifings and knuckledusters: the problems of dispersal
Article Abstract:

In contrast, there have been attacks on asylum-seekers in Bradford and Sunderland.
