Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic now faces a range of charges, including the murder of 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men in Srebrenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina, in 1995. His lawyers claim that there is not enough firm evidence against him to secure a conviction.

Milosevic could face firing squad for state murders

The Serbian authorities have indicated that there is evidence that former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic was involved in serious crimes for which he could face the death penalty. It is anticipated that Milosevic's wife Mirjana will also be accused of murder.
