Defiant shouts end a strange saga of international intrigue and conspiracy

Article Abstract:

Five British Muslims have been found guilty by a court in Yemen of participating in a terrorist plot to carry out bombings and murders. They all had an ordinary upbringing in the UK, and did not show signs of being particularly devout Muslims. They appeared to have become the victims of a miscarriage of justice, and claimed that they had been tortured to force them to confess. However, it appears that at least some of them were involved in dubious activities.
