The challenge remains: can we rid Britain of murderous racism?

Article Abstract:

The report from the inquiry into the police investigation of the racist murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence has gone further than anticipated by making recommendations on education and race legislation. It is now time to take up the initiative created by this report, ensuring that real steps are taken to eradicate racism in the UK. Particular attention must be given to tackling racism among police officers and to making police forces more accountable.
