For sale, a pen with a reputation for quality

Article Abstract:

Parker Pen, manufacturer of quality pens is looking for a sympathetic buyer after 10 years of turbulance. Parker Pen was formed in 1888 to produce distinctive pens which barely altered until the 1980s. The mistake of trying to go downmarket in the US ended with a management buyout and relocation to England. After two failed floatations and a takeover, Parker is looking for an international buyer for the company which has 20% of the world market share for fountain pens.

Never mind the quality, feel the pitch

Article Abstract:

It has become extremely important to publicise films extensively before they are released if they are to be really successful. In the case of the new James Bond film, 'Goldeneye,' more than 30 nationwide product associations have already been launched, and expenditure on marketing is very high. It is also vital to secure the most profitable distribution deals, as people tend to only see films which are showing at nearby cinemas.
