Actor Eugene Evans began acting at the Penthouse Theatre in Altadene, CA. Before serving as a sergeant in the second world war, he studied and worked at the Pasadena Playhouse. He began taking on small Hollywood roles after the second world war, appearing in films including 'Berlin Express,' 'Criss-Cross,' 'Armored Car Robbery' and 'Ace in the Hole.' He made his television debut in 1952, and subsequently made frequent guest appearances on series including 'Gunsmoke' and 'Rawhide.'
