Genius who spread his gift to youth of the world

Article Abstract:

Violinist Yehudi Menuhin had a significant impact on approaches to music education, both in the UK and internationally. His school in Surrey, England, has taught musically talented children from around the world, and he also promoted music teaching in ordinary schools in the UK. He showed great musical ability from a very early age, and his classical works were always received very enthusiastically by audiences. However, he was also willing to experiment with more challenging repertoires.
