Gold help the Princesses of Wales

Article Abstract:

The problems experienced by the present Princess of Wales are not very great compared with those which faced some Princesses of Wales in the past. Several were forced to marry very young, lost their husbands and were then obliged to make further unsuitable matches. They were frequently isolated, and those who failed to produce male heirs were treated with contempt. Even those who had the sympathy of ordinary people ofted unhappy lives.

Of courtesy and Chinese orphans

Article Abstract:

Recent media coverage in the UK has given the impression that Chinese orphans are treated very harshly and kept in appalling conditions. This has prompted the creation of a charity which aims to raise funds to help these orphans. This is a very misguided approach. The Chinese actually treat their children much better than the British tend to, and to condemn them is to misunderstand their culture.

Young, free, virginal and not a dork

Article Abstract:

A growing number of students are now choosing to remain celibate, moving away from a time when recreational sex was regarded as normal. They prefer to focus on commitment, and feel that sexual feelings among friends would be inappropriate. They give the impression of being relaxed, focused and organised, and are not losing out because they are not sexually active.
